PROJECT BRIEF

As part of our go-to-market strategy at Fjord, we create Industry POVs that help spark conversations with clients and create new business opportunities.

The go-to-market team asked me to lead a blended team of business designers, analysts, and UX/UI designers to create a user-centric POV and set up a co-creation workshop about the future opportunities in the EV space for utility companies.

IMPACT

The POV was pitched to existing clients creating a lot of interest and the opportunity for a year-long project.

— THE OPPORTUNITY SPACE

To define the opportunity space, Fjord worked closely with Accenture Strategy to leverage existing data and ethnographic research.

— DEFINITION PHASE

During the definition phase, we started defining the main principles to create a better EV experience and the main concerns preventing users from switching to EV.

To better explain the opportunities to clients, we also created two main journeys based on three proto personas and 25 high-level concepts of products or services that could solve their user’s pain points.

— KICK OFF WORKSHOP

To start engaging with utility companies, we set up a few 2-4 hour sessions to guide the participants through the design process, from exploring the EV customer and their pains to sharing the high-level concepts.

In the workshop, we had two main objectives:

1. understand how the concepts created could be delivered in their organisation
2. Inspire the generation and the delivery of new concepts
